How Diet and Exercise Planner Works
1. Setup your personal information by tapping File>Setup Personal
Information…. This information is used to calculate your Basal
Metabolic Rate (BMR). The BMR is the rate at which your body burns calories
in the absence of exercise. If you were to lie in bed all day, you would
burn whatever your BMR is. Your BMR depends on genetics, muscle mass,
and a number of other factors. The software uses Harris-Benedict equation
to calculate your BMR.
2. Setup your goals by tapping File>Set Your Goals…. This information
will help the Diet and Exercise Planner to guide you toward your diet
and weight goal.
Daily Food and Exercise Entry
1. Enter the food you eat by tapping Eat>Food Group>Food Item.
If you want to add a food item that is not on the list, just add a similar
item or tap File>Add My Own Food. To repeat "My Food" entry
at any time, tap View> Food Entries History. Tap the entry you want
to repeat. Tap the Repeat Entry button.
2. Enter you exercise by tapping Burn>Exercise Type>Exercise Time.

item or tap File>Add My Own Exercise. To repeat"My Own Exercise"
entry at any time, tap View> Exercise Entries History. Tap the entry
you want to repeat. Tap the Repeat Entry button.
3. You may want to adjust you weight on the daily basis. This will improve
BMR calculations.

The Diet and Exercise Planner allows you to view data in 4 principal
ways:

view lets you easily adjust your food intake and exercise to satisfy
your diet and weight goals. You can also view 7, 14, and 30 day food
and exercise balance.
2. The Graph function allows you to analyze your progress over time.
Graph such parameters as weight, calorie, fat, carbohydrates, and protein
intake, exercise time, and calorie burn by exercise. To use the graph
function tap View>Graph Parameter.

Reviews
I have tried several diet software before. They
all were overkill!

"I have tried several diet software before. They all were overkill.
This one is the 1st that is easy to use."
New features are worth the price!
Marie from Charlotte, NC
"I have been using Soundtells Calorie Burner software for nearly
a year. I have been bugging Soundtells developers for more features.
Diet and Exercise Planner adds most of the features I have asked for:
it has weight goal calculations, exercise calendar, and all kinds of
graphs (calorie, fat, protein, and others values tracing over time).
Diet and Exercise Planner cost $10 more than Calorie Burner but new
features are worth the price."
I've been using the Diet Planner software for over
4 months.
A reviewer from JP, MA
"I've been using the Diet Planner software for over 4 months. Over
this 4 months I have lost 9.5 pounds. It was much easier to work on
weight loss goals with the help of this software. After every meal i
have indicated what I ate and the software indicated my calories, fat,
carbs, and proteins. Then after the gym I have indicated the activity
and the software calculated the number of calories I have burned. The
software also calculated my balance and predicted my weight loss. Data
entry is easy and the software worked without a glitch. The software
has a nice exercise calendar, but no diet calendar. My only suggestion
is to add the diet calendar to the software in the future."
